| Daughter #2 was born on Monday March 24, 2008 at 2:31 am. She was almost an Easter baby but not quite. Her name is Gracie Kay, 8 lbs 14 oz and 20 inches long. Big blue eyes and a little brown fuzz for hair. She is a wonderful baby and Hannah is a great big sister.

| I thought I would post some updated pictures of Hannah on here. She is such a monkey! She loves to dance and climb on the furniture. I can't believe how big she is getting but I guess that is a good thing with another one on the way. Which, by the way, is due on March 20, 2008.
I love taking naps with my baby.
She is a ham, just like her mother.
She loves to eat spaghetti. We make sure to have the tub ready right afterwards for bath time.
She's been a baseball fan since day one.
| To clarify some rumors out there, yes I am expecting baby #2. It will be due around mid-March. We are very excited about this one. The only problem is that being new to this school district, I do not get maternity leave. I can be gone for the baby but I will not get paid. Kind of a bummer. We are trying to work things out like if other teachers can donate a sick day to me so I can stay home with the baby. We'll see I guess. | | |
| Again, it has been forever since I have checked this website. I will try to do a better job of making this part of my internet ritual. I am now living in Sioux Falls, SD. Tyler got a 5th grade teaching job down here, so we moved to be closer to his family. I have a job as a Reading Teacher. It is part time again so I can stay home with Hannah. I am also teaching colorguard with Patrick Brynes at Roosevelt High School. Ben Firkus is the Assistant Director there. It has been so wonderful being able to teach guard again. I really missed it while I was away in Watertown. The kids are great and they seem to really appreciate me being there. We are coming to 2 Minnesota shows this fall - Marshall and Irondale. Keep an eye out for me. I would like to talk to all my old corps pals. Hannah is 1 now. She is walking all over the place and babbles into make believe telephones. I can't believe how fast she has grown. Once I download some new pictures of her I will post them on my site. | | |
| My goodness it has been awhile since I have checked this site. I am a bigger facebook user now - sorry guys. A lot has changed since August. Hannah is now 7.5 months. She is working on learning how to crawl; right now she can skooch backwards very well. She was born with brown hair but now she is bald and it looks like blond hair is coming in. Her eyes are still a gorgeous blue. It's hard to tell, but she has applesauce all over her face. She loves solid food and is a very good eater!
This is her bundled for the crazy cold weather. She can't move anything but her eyes.
You can see her on her knees. She has such ambition to crawl, she just can't figure it out yet.
I am not a substitute anymore. I got a job as a part time reading instructor. I work for 4 hours each day teaching the little ones to read. It is a perfect job because I still get time at home with Hannah AND I will recieve paychecks during the summer without having to work! You have to love being a teacher!
